A Book Log
As another data point, I felt more or less the same. I enjoyed the read very much, as I was in a very Marvel-y, supers kind of mood, and had just come off of reading The Confusion as well, so the transition into the period was easy for me; but it's very Marvel-y and very super...so I understand it wouldn't work for those who consider those negatives.
I will confess to totally not figuring out the Ro Haz (or however they spelled it) thing until it was explicitly revealed, for which I felt thoroughly absurd.
